The Muggle Who Refuses Magic
When muggles can finally use magic but choose not to, isn't that stupid?
In Harry Potter’s world, muggles can’t do magic. Only those with wizard blood can pick up a wand and cast spells.
Now imagine: A new kind of wand appears. No bloodline required. No special talent needed. Any muggle can pick it up and cast magic. And it works faster, simpler, and more powerfully than traditional magic…
But the muggle protagonist refuses to use it.
Wouldn’t we think they’re being stupid?
The Wizards’ Pride
What’s even more interesting is how the original wizards react.
They spent their whole lives practicing magic, memorizing incantations, understanding every gesture’s theory. Suddenly, any random person can do what they took pride in.
Some wizards say: “This isn’t real magic.” Some wizards say: “People using these wands don’t understand magic’s essence.” Some wizards say: “Just wait, these shortcuts will backfire.”
But the muggles don’t care. They just know they can fly now.
Which Side Are You On?
When everyone can cast magic, the real question isn’t “does this count as real magic?”
It’s: Will you keep being the muggle who refuses to pick up the new wand, or the old wizard complaining about the new era?
Or will you pick up that wand and see what you can create?
After all, magic was never about the wand.
It’s about the world you want to create.
P.S. Don’t know how to start? Try asking your new wands 1 2 3. They might be more patient than you think.
P.S.S. As for whether these new wands will ultimately cause the end of the world? That’s for the powerful wizards to worry about. We muggles and mediocre magicians can just enjoy the feeling of flying for now. (shrug)
