Level 1 writer
Writing journey
My journey from zero to writer: daily writing experiments, finding my voice, building a readership, and publishing my first book — struggles included.
🌸 Lv.4 Bloom
A little method I use to motivate myself to write.
Level 1 players fight level 1 monsters
This is where I document my journey from zero to writer.
Whether it’s mindset shifts, improving my writing, or every decision on the road to a published book, I’ll share honestly here.
Including:
- Starting to write - Ideas matter more than perfect prose
- Keeping at it - Daily writing experiments and long-termism
- Getting seen - From hating social media to building a readership
- Becoming a writer - From beginner to (hopefully) published author
Writing is a practice of long-termism.
Every day of writing is an investment in your future self.

Should I self-publish a physical book in Taiwan? Or just go digital?
Taiwan doesn't have Print on Demand. Self-publishing means paying $5,000+ USD upfront to print 500 copies. The math doesn't work out, but I really want to hold my own book.
